By the Fernbrake, deep and shady,
There I met a dark haired lady.
Dressed so fine in silk and flowers,
There she whiled away the hours.
Waiting until noon.
"Are you Lost?" I asked the lady.
"Is this your home, this Fernbrake shady?
Will others come by star and moon?"
She only smiled, and began to croon,
I'm only waiting until noon.
