"The Old Oak Tree"

One of my favorite things to do is read a good book.
photo by Leo J. Beachy poem by Gigi Ann

Relaxing under the old oak tree
On a warm and cozy Spring day
With book in hand,
She was transferred to another land
Where the palms trees
swayed to the trade wind breezes,
And the waves caressed the beach.
She could almost smell the fresh salty air
As she read the tale of the girl with blonde hair
And the Prince from long, long ago.

I love this one. I could feel the breeze and almost remember the smell of the salty air. I love it.
